Origin

Following controlled sowing and cultivation, Allergon collects the plant materials at the exact time to obtain the best pollen yield. The majority of the plants we grow are cultivated on our own land. This means meticulous control from collection to the finished product, and enables us to develop a product that complies with specification.

Our long experience has given us a very comprehensive global database of pollens and pollen producing plants. Our knowledge extends from the pollens’ natural growth processes, optimum harvesting time and technique, to our own production and laboratory development. Knowledge about how collection is carried out in the field and how to handle the material immediately upon collection is particularly important for the quality of the product.

The huge amount of information we have amassed over the years is used to ensure reproduceability, and is continuously updated to increase our competence.
