Allergon has just completed the conversion from oil to natural gas. By changing the energy source from oil to natural gas we save both money and the environment. The conversion will reduce emissions of sulfur and soot, and reduce our truck transports.
The investment cost for conversion is 1.6 million SEK and will provide Allergon an annual cost saving of about 0.25 million SEK.
To take another step forward in our energy work, we have also decided to conduct an energy audit that will give us the opportunity to reduce our energy consumption further.
